Malcolm Allan, son of Mr and Mrs James Allan,17 Carmuirs Street,Camelon has been Mentioned in Dispatches. The Certificate of Mention was presented to L.A.C Allan by his commanding officer at a special parade in the Field, and it is an additional point of interest that the ceremony was witnessed by his brother, L.A.C. James Allan, who is also serving as a dispatch-rider with the R.A.F in the Middle East and who attended the parade. Another brother, Seaman John Allan. Royal Navy, who is on active service, took part in tank-landing operations during the Dieppe Raid. L.A.C Malcom Allan, who is 24 years of age, joined the R.A.F. Fully three years ago.
