The firm was started by my father Malcolm Allan in 1954.
It was a traditional retail family butchers business up until the mid nineties.
By this time it had grown to have 20 retail outlets and was supplied from our own factories.
It became apparent that due to a change in shopping habits that this would not be sustainable in the long term so we had to change.
We had good facilities and good products and over the last few years we have sold these products into major multiples on the manufacturing side under our own label..More
