Our beef is sourced from grass-fed herds from the grasslands of stirlingshire, the lothians and the scottish borders. It carries the specially selected scotch beef mark of assurance, so you can be sure it meets the most stringent standards of quality. Behind the braveheart name is all the expertise of a family run company that's been involved in the scottish meat and butchery trade for generations. We produce beef by traditional methods. We select abattoirs for their proximity to farms in order to reduce transport stress, and we can provide any cut customers specify. The time and care we take in producing our beef represents a commitment to quality and assurance that sets braveheart beef apart.
Over 10,000 of scotland's livestock producers are independently inspected to ensure all animals destined to become specially selected scotch beef are reared and fed to the highest standards of animal husbandry, health and welfare. Only beef from farm assured herds is eligible to bear this mark, and it is your guarantee of a traceable path at every stage of production.
